Script of the Game Boy game Mega Man IV.
Opening
Dr. Light: Mega Man, Dr. Wily has sent his most powerful robots across the world. To combat them, I have invented a new machine to make power items from you. But to make the items, we need to use special energy items called P Chips. Collect as many P Chips as you can and bring them back to the lab. The more chips you collect, the better the item I can make for you.
Back to Dr. Light's Lab
Dr. Light: Mega Man! Did you get the P Chips?
Dr. Light: Select the item you want.
Power-up
(If the player gets a Game Over four times in the same stage without returning to the Stage Select Screen)
Dr. Light: Hmmm..... I didn't expect Wily to be this powerful. I guess I have no choice but to try to enhance your Mega Buster.
Dr. Light: But realize that this power-up will lose its effect if you turn off the Game Boy.
Mega Man doesn't have all WILY plates
Dr. Light: Mega Man, to sneak into the center of Wily's tank, you need to collect the W, I, L and Y plates hidden in the tank. Go and get them all!!!
Ballade's Sacrifice
(Mega Man is trying to escape the Wily Battleship, but the exit is blocked and he can't destroy it with his Mega Buster. He tries a charge shot a couple of times, but it doesn't work. Then, Ballade, badly damaged from the two losses against Mega Man, shows up.)
Mega Man: Ballade! Why are you here?
(Ballade prepares to sacrifice himself)
Mega Man: Stop, Ballade! You're badly injured!
Ballade: I know, Mega Man. After our battle, I realized I was wrong. This is all I can do for you now. Good bye...
Mega Man: Ballade!!!!!
(Ballade self-distructs and dies, destroying the exit. After getting blown away, Mega Man is on Rush in his Rush Space form and watches as the Wily Battleship explodes.)
